2025 Durango Baseball League Playoff Dates:

• 8U/10U: June 8-15
• 12U/15U: June 16-22

All Divisions Playoff Guest Player rules:

1. Players must be registered to play 2025 spring league baseball for the community they are guest playing for.
2. Players must be of the same age or younger for the division they are guest playing for.
3. Guest players should only be used to field a roster of 9, never to replace a rostered player who is on the bench. Maximum 2 guest players.
4. Guest players only play outfield positions.
5. Guest players bat last.

8U Rule Reminders:

1. A ten-foot pitcher's circle shall be marked on the infield, 46 feet from home plate. Therefore, assume a pitcher's rubber at 41 feet. A coach has to pitch from the circle, overhand to the batter.
2. Once the ball is within the infield and possessed by the defense, runners must stop at the base they are running towards.
3. Excessive running on over throws is not allowed. Runners should advance freely on hits to the outfield, however runners shall not advance more than one base on fielding errors if the ball stays in the infield. A second overthrow does not constitute extra bases.
4. All players present must be included in the batting order. Only play 3 outfielders.

Pitching Guidelines: For 10U/12U/15U divisions, we will use inning counts instead of pitch tracking. 

1. If a pitcher pitches more than 4 innings in one calendar day, a 36-hour rest period will apply.
2. Each out recorded while a pitcher is pitching shall count as 1/3rd of an inning.
3. Maximum Innings in One Calendar Day = 7 innings. 
4. Maximum Innings for Tournament (including Championship game) = 9 innings.
5. Inning counts should be included in your books for tracking purposes.

8U and 10U playoff games do not have run rules. 12U and 15U have run rules. 15 runs after 3 innings 12 runs after 4 innings, 10 runs after 5 innings.
