Danger Travel Softball
Spring 2026 Information:
All teams will play 16 games. 8 regular season games and then they will also play in two tournaments that have a minimum of four games each. The first tournament will be in Cortez over Mother's Day weekend, May 8th through May 10th. Then they will play in our Durango Danger Invitational Tournament June 5th through 7th. Travel teams will play in additional tournaments that coaches and families will determine. Rec teams will play in the Cortez Softball League again this year and half of the games will be played in Cortez and the other half in Durango.
Rec Softball Season Dates: 4/13/26* - 6/7/26
Travel Softball Season Dates: 3/30/26*-7/30/26
*Start dates have to be cleared by the City of Durango when the fields are open to use.*
In addition to playing in 16 games each player will receive a game jersey (see picture below) and the choice of a hat or visor. Other required items for the season are black softball pants, red belt and red socks and a softball glove. Optional items are bat, bat bag, defensive face mask, cleats and batting gloves.
2026 Spring Danger Softball
8U Danger Softball: Cost: $230. Eligible players cannot turn nine before 9/1/2016.
10U Danger Softball: Cost: $305. Eligible players cannot turn 11 before 9/1/2014.
12U Danger: Cost: $310. Eligible players cannot turn 13 before 9/1/2012.
14U Danger: Cost: $320. Eligible players cannot turn 15 before 9/1/2010.
